A new report on drivers’ habits found that Americans need to get off their phones while they are behind the wheel. The findings were based on data collected by the EverDrive app, The app uses the sensors inside your phone such as GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope and even whether the screen is on or off, to determine driving habits. According to the CNET.com website, the app collected 781 million miles worth of driving data in 2017.
