Visitors of a park in the city of Hirosaki in northern Japan are treated every year to a cherry blossom festival. Visitors are amazed at the breathtaking sight of about 2,600 blossoming cherry trees. A celebration marking the festival’s 100th anniversary is being held at a park surrounding Hirosaki Castle, the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) reported Sunday. The Air Self-Defense Force's "Blue Impulse" aerobatics display team took part in the celebrations by staging an air show above cheering crowds.
