Turkish police launched on Friday an operation to detain at least 117 persons, including lawyers, policemen, and military officers over their alleged links to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), led by Fethullah Gulen who Ankara holds responsible for the failed coup attempt of July 15, 2016. Reports said the police detained 60 lawyers and 44 soldiers in Ankara and Istanbul.
