Iran's FM Threatens ‘Unfavorable’ Measures if US Pulls out from Nuclear Deal

Iran’s foreign minister warned on Friday that a US pullout from the international nuclear deal would be met with “measures” that would be “very unfavorable" for the US. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear deal was signed in 2015 between Tehran and six world powers, including the US. Speaking upon his arrival in New York for a six-day trip, Zarif said: “The measures to be undertaken by Iran and the response of the international community to [the] US leaving the JCPOA will be very unfavorable for the Americans.” The Iranian FM will attend the UN’s two-day High Level M
