Egypt’s parliament united in saying that there is no evidence of security deficiency in the events leading to the recent bloodbath in Al-Rawda mosque in Northern Sinai. MPs reaffirmed their support for the political administration, army and security forces in their war against terrorism. On that note, army forces continue to cooperate with tribes across the peninsula in their pursuit of the perpetrators. A total of 305 people were killed and 128 wounded in an attack by militants on the mosque in the Arish region in northern Sinai.
